Shiriya-saki Lighthouse in Higashidori Village, Aomori Prefecture. One of the 16 "climbable lighthouses" (lighthouses you can enter) nationwide. This white lighthouse stands on the Shimokita Peninsula, the northeasternmost tip of Honshu, and is also known for its Kandate horses.

Nyudo-saki Lighthouse in Oga City, Akita Prefecture. One of the climbable lighthouses (lighthouses you can enter). It stands at the tip of the Oga Peninsula, and its black and white horizontal stripes are its distinguishing feature.

Tsumekizaki Lighthouse on Tsumekizaki Island in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. One of the climbable lighthouses (lighthouses you can enter). Made of unpainted granite, it is known along with the Tsumekizaki Bridge.
