It covers famous waterfalls such as the three most famous waterfalls in Japan (disputed) - Kegon Falls, Nachi Falls, and Fukuroda Falls - as well as Shomyo Falls, which has the greatest drop in Japan. The difficulty varies from waterfalls that can be enjoyed on a stroll along maintained walking paths, to challenging spots requiring serious mountain climbing or stream climbing, with their appearance changing with the seasons: fresh greenery, autumn colors, and icefalls.
