Heisei Hyakusen Meisui Tour: 100 Famous Waters Selected by the Ministry of the Environment
The Heisei Hyakusen Meisui are 100 springs and rivers nationwide selected by the Ministry of the Environment in 2008 (a different selection from the 1985 Meisui Hyakusen). We have compiled 99 locations that could be identified on a map, categorized by region (Tsugamine Keiryuusui is located on the border of Fukushima and Yamagata prefectures and was excluded due to difficulty in pinpointing on a map).

The spring water 'Minamiaso Village Spring Water Group' in Minamiaso Village, Aso District, Kumamoto Prefecture. It is one of the '100 Famous Waters of the Heisei Era' selected by the Ministry of the Environment in 2008.

The spring water 'Rokuka Spring Water Group / Ukijima' at Ukishima Shrine [http://www.ukishimajinja.com/] in Mashiki Town, Kamimashiki District, Kumamoto Prefecture. It is one of the '100 Famous Waters of the Heisei Era' selected by the Ministry of the Environment in 2008.
