Japan's Top 100 Rice Terraces" is a selection of 134 terraced rice fields designated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in 1999 (some areas are no longer individually recorded due to abandonment, etc.). Rice terraces are organized by region nationwide.
